Day 21: A photo of something that makes me happy

Brightly colored flowers and Mango Sorbet.

Both of those things bring a smile to my face every single time. I absolutely delight in every small bite of that wonderfully delicious sorbet. And it helps that it is orange, which is such a cheerful color. Just a few small bites and you feel like you've treated yourself to an intricate delicacy. Mmmmm... just thinking about it makes me happy. Although, be warned, if you try to eat even half of the pint in one sitting, as I have most certainly done, you will have a sugar high for the rest of the day (and night!) I cannot tell you how jittery it made me. But, a few small bites... wonderful!

As far as the flowers go... well, what can I say? I'm a sucker for flowers. For any occasion. I can try to stay mad at Jordan for some petty argument (and my stubbornness usually has me going for some time), but as soon as he shows up with flowers, my heart melts and I smile at him (no matter how hard I try not to at times). I love flowers. Brightly colored bouquets year-round just make my heart happy. Right now I have an autumn display of daisies and lilies in my foyer. I've trained Beckham well. Every time we enter a store that has a flower display, he asks me, "Mom, can I go pick out some pretty flowers for you?" I love it! Every now and then I let him go over and pick something out for me... I mean, who wouldn't?
