We just got back from New York City late last night.
Beckham's favorite games to play involve wrestling, tackling, and using his "super powers"
Jordan graduated from Medical School in May and is now in his Internship year of an Ophthalmology Residency in the Army... one of the most competitive Residencies to get into in the Army (only 6 spots available)... but he's too humble to take any credit for his genius mind so I'll tell you here - the man is a genius.
Erin is slowly finishing a degree in Creative Writing, and has been working on a book here and there but is hesitant to publish right away
We just bought our first house north of Washington, D.C.
We order pizza at least 3 times per month and always include pizza night with movie night - the Papa Johns delivery guy knows the way to our house by heart
We hope to take a trip out to the UK in the near future to see castles, premier league soccer, and the Loch Ness Monster.
Our extended family (siblings and parents) live all across the Western United States in Hawaii, Washington, California, Montana, Arizona, Utah... we love the East Coast, but considering that everyone lives out West, we might just have to move to Washington some day.
We are on our way to Baltimore right now, so I better hurry and come up with a few more facts just off the top of my head...
I love to cook with cracked pepper... mmmmm....
Beckham has inspired me to want to become a Preschool or Kindergarten teacher
Ava is such a sweet baby - she loves to imitate Beckham whenever he hollers "DAAAAAD..."
We miss our family... fortunately we have gotten to spend the past week with Zach and Alyse and their sweet baby Ezra... now to get the rest of you out here to see us!
Beckham has always insisted on having me sing to him before he goes to bed, ever since he was a baby. Ava, on the other hand, does not like it at all. She insists on total quiet in her bedroom right before bed.
I love studying the subject of Linguistic Anthropology and would love to get a PhD in it some day when I have the freedom to move to one of the few Universities that offer it. In the meantime I need to dedicate some serious study to some languages. I have studied Spanish, Italian, Swahili, Mandarin, French... am I leaving anything out? I know very little of each of these languages, actually. I need to choose one and stick with it for 5 years at a time!
